About Utilikit
Utilikit is a small, independent project to rebuild the web's most-loved everyday utilities with clean design, honest privacy, and zero interstitials. No paywalls, no sign-ups, no "install our app" pop-ups.
The philosophy
Most of the web's biggest utility sites — word unscramblers, calculators, converters — were built a decade or more ago and have been slowly crusted over with ads, pop-ups, and cookie walls. They still rank number one on Google because they do solve the underlying problem, but using them is an exercise in tolerance.
We think you can build the same kind of tool in a way that's genuinely pleasant to use, and still pay for hosting and development time with modest, respectful advertising. That's Utilikit.

How we're funded
Utilikit is ad-supported via Google AdSense. We don't sell user data, we don't have hidden affiliate links inside tool outputs, and we don't run sponsored tool recommendations. See the privacy policy for the details.
How decisions get made
Every tool on Utilikit is chosen based on one criterion: is there a real, specific problem a lot of people have, and does a simple tool solve it better than a 2,000-word blog post? If the answer to both is yes, the tool gets built. If we can't honestly say that, the tool doesn't ship — regardless of what a keyword tool says it might earn.
We also have a rule against "fake output": tools whose results look useful but are actually random or misleading. If a calculator isn't based on a well-known model, we tell you. If a name generator is just remixing syllables, we say so. We'd rather be 10% less viral and 100% more trustworthy.
Who makes it
Utilikit is operated by an independent developer based in the United States. For partnership inquiries, press, or any other correspondence, please use the contact page. We reply to almost everything, usually within a week. We don't accept guest posts, sponsored backlinks, or paid placement inside tool outputs — please don't ask.
